About Marija
Upon completion of her Bachelor of Life Sciences degree at Queen’s University in 2004, Marija went on to complete her Masters of Chemical Sciences degree in 2007. Marija then enjoyed a one year contract as a research assistant at Laurentian University working in the field of skeletal muscle plakins.
Shifting her research focus from bench to clinical, she began her full-time employment at Medicor Research Inc. in 2008 while teaching Anatomy and Physiology at Cambrian College part-time. Married in 2007 and her first of 2 children arriving in 2009, she decided to work exclusively in clinical research. As a CRC she enjoys a diverse field of learning with the flexibility of a good work and family life balance. She takes pleasure in her time outside of work, playing with her children and spending time with her husband and friends.
